I am Mrs. Barbara Sandberg.  I graduated from the College of St. Catherine with a degree in Elementary Education.  This will be my eighth year of teaching 4th grade at St. Mary of Mt. Carmel Catholic School.  Throughout my thirty years of teaching, I have enjoyed working with young students.  I especially enjoy teaching math and reading, because those were such a struggle for me in grade school.

My husband Steve and I have lived in Long Prairie for close to 30 years.  We have two grown children and just recently have enjoyed the birth of our first grandchild.  We love to travel and visit new places.  When at home, I read books, solve Sudoku puzzles, work on photo albums, and enjoy cooking.
