Hi,

My name is Mary Kay Hinnenkamp and I volunteer at St. Mary’s of Mount Carmel School. I mainly help out in the library with ordering new books and organizing donated ones as well as entering them in the computer system. I also order Accelerated Reader tests and enter them on the teacher’s computers. When needed, I help check out/check in books and help students find the book they re looking for.    The Scholastic Book Fair is also one of the things I enjoy helping with. I love books and helping kids discover the joy of reading!

 

In my free time I enjoy reading, gardening, scrapbooking, cooking, canning, being crafty and spending lots of time with my family. I have lived in Long Prairie all my life and went to St. Mary’s as a child. I am married to Rod Hinnenkamp and we have three boys ages 13, 10 and 3. I also have two older step-children and a step granddaughter with a step-grandson on the way! There is never a dull moment at our house!
